They’re pretty great entertainers. Funny and self-deprecating between songs. A wide variety of songs, including one “sung” by their puppet band, Avatars of They.
They started off strong with Birdhouse in Your Soul, finished strong with Istanbul (Not Constantinople), and had a strong in between with my favorites, Ana Ng and Don’t Let’s Start. Great atmosphere.
I also participated in a conga line during The Guitar, which was started by Alex. He may have stepped on a baby at one point, but who puts a baby on the ground in the crowd at an outdoor night concert? I blame them.
Twas a good night.
